L'embuscade sur Sarrebourg

Fantastic place, we had a wonderful time! The portions were generous and hearty, we left feeling completely satisfied. A huge thank you to Margot, our waitress, who was lovely from start to finish, and especially attentive to our 21-month-old baby. It's always so nice to feel welcome with a little one, and it made the meal even more enjoyable. We highly recommend it, and we'll definitely be back!

Lunch for a family of 4 adults on a hot sunny July day, sitting outside in their large shady terrace, €109 for mains and deserts and a couple of drinks alongside the carafe of water. Excellent quality food, friendly service. Prices in France a lot more than I recall from a few years ago, we had the lower cost plat du jour items on the menu, but very good. Being Brits, we'd say the portions of chips could have been a bit larger 😁

I had a salad. Quite a generous portion, but a bit pricey for my taste (€21). Friendly service.

A wonderful discovery, a warm welcome with a smile, we arrived without a reservation on a busy evening, and we received a quality welcome and ate very well.

I've eaten it several times, it was very good, but today the cordon bleu was overcooked. Have they changed chefs? For 30 euros, it's a bit much not to know how to cook it properly.

Stopped here for a beer and they had world cup on. Really nice staff, especially considering my lack of French. They had erdinger on tap and you get free mini pretzels with drinks.

Everything was perfect! A big thank you to the waiter who was absolutely lovely.
