On our way from Belgium, we stopped in Salon-de-Provence on Sunday, August 16th, when everything seemed closed and the atmosphere in the old town was rather gloomy. It was there that we discovered the restaurant L'Endroit, at the foot of the Château de l'Empéri. A very pleasant surprise! The setting is charming in this former medieval farmhouse, with exposed stone walls and a pretty inner courtyard. But it's the food that truly shines: 100% homemade cuisine, fresh and flavorful (lamb pastilla, beef piccata), prepared with real seasonal ingredients. You can taste the skill and care put into every dish.
An excellent experience, highly recommended for a lunch break in Salon-de-Provence.

We had a wonderful time.
The staff were very welcoming and friendly (we were a group of 8: 4 adults, 4 children, and 3 toddlers). And the meal... what can I say? Pure bliss! Congratulations to the chef for the menu!
A delight for both the palate and the eyes. I highly recommend it!

I asked the AI to suggest a restaurant halfway between us and my friends.
There were four adults, three children, and a 15-year-old dog.
The restaurant, L'endroit, was suggested! Without hesitation, you can go there with your eyes closed!
We were reserved a table under the air conditioning (they took into account the dog and its age, providing a water bowl). A high chair was set up for us. The menu was small (a plus) and very well presented! The service was quick and very helpful.
The restrooms were very clean (that's important).
