We recently stopped in Souillac. For dinner, we chose Mon Petit Resto, and it was a great decision. In a lovely vaulted room with 80s music playing, we had a wonderful time. The trout steak with delicious homemade fries was amazing. I'm not usually a red meat eater, but I couldn't resist trying the tender sliced beef my partner ordered.
The young woman who served us was very attentive. We will definitely return to your establishment.

Guided by the Routard, we were full of hope. For dinner on a Monday evening at the end of August, for two. "Terrace" on the street, no problem, it's pedestrian, but if you're not at the few tables on the fountain square, it's a bit sad. But still better than dining in, which has no interest, except to break your ears with unpleasant music. Service was a bit slow, without being scandalous. As for the food, the duck confit was excellent, the Italian salad a little less so. We would have preferred roasted peppers and sundried tomatoes rather than melon and peaches! Honorable results. Souillac didn't make a big impression on us! When you know Louis Roque's old plum, you can do without the rest.
