L'entrecôte sur Gond-Pontouvre

We're currently at L'Entrecôte restaurant celebrating a memorable event. Here's our live review: Very welcoming team, professional and friendly service, top-quality meat, homemade fries, a convivial atmosphere without being over the top, delicious food, comfortable booths: we'll be back.

This place was a delightful discovery! I was expecting a chain restaurant like the ones in Bordeaux or Montpellier, but not at all. If you're looking for a more varied menu with excellent cuts of meat, this is the place. ⭐ A warm welcome from the start, followed by attentive service, always with a smile and genuine kindness. The dining room has a charming "mountain chalet" feel. ⭐ We enjoyed a delicious cocktail and mocktail! For my part, with the Vendangeur, I found there either wasn't enough, or the container was too big, but I still wanted more! 😂 ⭐ We started our meal with a generous charcuterie board, a special mention for the very good black pudding and the absolutely incredible Charentais cheesecake! 👌🏾 ⭐ For our main courses, we were well served with two rib-eye steaks and homemade fries, cheese sauce, peppercorn sauce, and Béarnaise sauce. Everything was perfect, from the cooking of the meat and fries to the seasoning of the sauces. 😊 Thank you again for this lovely surprise and the warm welcome; we highly recommend this place! 😁

A must-try! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The meat was succulent; at our table we had duck breast, andouillette sausage, and ribeye steak, and everyone enjoyed it. The meat was cooked perfectly to our liking, the dishes were piping hot, and the plates were generously filled with homemade fries and salad. The dessert was perfect; their whipped cream was to die for! In short, everything was perfect, and we'll definitely be back.

This is our third visit in the last year. The meat is of exceptional quality; I had a flank steak, the fries were very good, and all the staff are incredibly friendly and competent. What a pleasure!

I recommend this restaurant.....good value for money.....it had been at least ten years since I had eaten in this restaurant, it was a nice surprise.

This restaurant was a wonderful discovery for us. The owner is incredibly kind, as are the staff. The meat is succulent and perfectly cooked. I highly recommend this establishment.
