L'entrepotes sur Aubigny-Sur-Nere

We were just passing through on vacation. We visited this pretty little town with its old-world charm, and the weather was beautiful. We stopped for lunch at "L'Entrepotes." The waitress was friendly, the table was in a mix of sun and shade, and we were comfortable outside. 👌 The entire meal was delicious, and we left happy to have found a restaurant where everything went smoothly. We highly recommend this place.

I really like this little restaurant. The food is good. The bavette steak, fries, and chocolate mousse are in memory of Suzanne, Chantal's mother.

The restaurant was decent, but based on previous reviews, I feel the quality has dropped significantly. So I was rather disappointed compared to what I'd expected. I ordered fish and chips; the fish was just like what you find in any chain brasserie, and the fries were mealy. In the end, I thought it was a bit overpriced for what it was.

The waitress was very friendly and pleasant. There was a problem in the kitchen; the service was far too slow, which was a shame! It took over an hour and a half to get a rather tough rump steak and an ice cream!

L'Entrepôtes in Aubigny-sur-Nère is an excellent choice. The menu is enticing and well-thought-out, featuring quality products served with care, a generous charcuterie board, perfectly crispy fish and chips, all accompanied by a fine selection of regional wines. They even have Menetou-Salon, proving that the restaurant knows how to showcase local vineyards. But what truly sets it apart is Jeanne: a true professional, smiling, attentive, who knows her menu inside and out and offers helpful advice without ever being pushy. The kind of service that makes you want to return. A wonderful local restaurant, ideal for a lunch break after visiting the nearby castle or Saint-Martin church. I highly recommend it.

Ordinary, canteen-style food, nothing fancy or refined, but still good. I was tucked into a corner on a high stool between two tables, probably because I was alone, even though I had a reservation. So, meh!

The meal was good, the waitress was pleasant, and I think that was lucky because the wait for the food was long and the organization wasn't great; we didn't eat what we ordered.
