Good regional cuisine with fresh fish. Delicious gratinated oysters. Prices are quite high, but fish dishes are always expensive, especially when they're cooked.

Pointe Courte is a world apart. It's somewhere else, it's everywhere and nowhere. So if you needed a restaurant to capture this truly unique neighborhood, this is it. You eat by the canal, practically in the canal, you eat well, you're served by people who love what they do, and you laugh a lot watching the trains, boats, cars, and sea bream go by. People come here to breathe in something different. People come here because it's here and nowhere else. Here, you'll have a wonderful time! And you'll come back. And we'll be back!

Superb view, fantastic welcome, top-notch waitresses and waiters, and the food was a delight. My partner and I went back three times in a row. We went in September and are going back again this Friday. And when a restaurant's restrooms are clean, the kitchen is impeccable; you can eat there without worry. In fact, the third time we went back for lunch, the waitress recognized us and offered us two Kir and blackcurrant liqueurs for our aperitif. Yes, that made us happy!

To put it simply… the food was decent, and the service was "French-style," so you have to be nice to the waiters.
We still had a good time, though. The rosé was chilled, the sun was warm, the terrace was lovely, and we weren't in a hurry.

The service is professional and the place is really nice.
We just had a drink, which is why I didn't rate the food.
Their "kebab" special, only available in the evening, is really great value, €4 per kebab...

I apologize for the rating, but while the place is worth it and the service was very good, we shouldn't have paid for the mangled mussels they served us. It was our first day in the area, and you wonder if that's how they eat them there, but we couldn't eat them. On the other hand, I can say that the ice cream was delicious.
