L'Epi de Blé sur Bailleul

We arrived somewhat by chance and late, yet they didn't hesitate to welcome us even though there were six of us. The welcome was warm, the dishes were very nice, and above all, we weren't rushed to finish. Watching the chefs at work almost in front of the customers is a nice touch. The decor is simple but cozy. We'll be back.

I had the pleasure of enjoying a pork cheek carbonnade: simply incredible! The meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender and bursting with flavor. And what can I say about the fries cooked in beef fat… a true delight! All this accompanied by top-notch service: warm, friendly, and attentive. An excellent restaurant that I wholeheartedly recommend. Kudos to Melanie and the entire team, and thank you for this wonderful experience! 👏

A fantastic discovery! The pork cheek stew was simply superb. Great selection of beers. Very pleasant service. Definitely a must-visit in Bailleul.

Our visit on Friday evening was very enjoyable. We particularly appreciated the warm atmosphere and the friendly, courteous service. The quality of the food was outstanding, and the opportunity to watch the chef at work from the dining room added a unique touch. The bartender, discreet yet engaging, created a pleasant interaction with the other guests. We were thoroughly satisfied with our experience.

Don't be in a hurry: after waiting 1 hour and 20 minutes for a Potjevleesch, you have to wait another 10 minutes to be served without any apology. We left without eating because our lunch break had run out. Appalling!
