We had a wonderful time at L'Epicurien. The meal was delicious, especially the snails with stracciatella and black garlic – a real treat! It will be a real pleasure to return.

A delightful discovery on a small street in Périgueux. The shaded outdoor terrace is charming. The portions are generous and delicious. Special mention goes to the walnut dessert: a Périgord specialty revisited with different flavors and textures. Highly recommended.

Lunch today at L’Épicurien in Périgueux, at my childhood friend Gilles’s restaurant. It was definitely a bit special for me to meet up with a friend from the Vexin region at such a wonderful place, but beyond the friendship, we truly enjoyed ourselves. The dishes were refined and perfectly executed, featuring excellent ingredients. The rib of beef was superb, both in terms of the quality of the meat and the preparation and cooking. A great wine list, just the way we like it. And above all, what a pleasure to rediscover Gilles’s cheese platter, which I had already enjoyed at his previous restaurant. Always so generous and hard to resist! Well done, Gilles, on how far you’ve come. So happy to have finally discovered L’Épicurien. See you soon.
