We had a wonderful time on a shaded terrace, thanks to the waitress's humor! The meal was excellent. We even got directions on how to get back on the bike path!!! 🤩👏👍🍴

During our annual stay in the Marais Poitevin, we had the opportunity to visit the bar several times and the restaurant once. The bar is perfect. The owner is super friendly, as is a young waiter on Sundays: the Picon beer brought back memories of my youth. The restaurant offers good value for money. The waitress on duty that day, ideologically driven, with an excessive personality and easily overwhelmed, is nonetheless undoubtedly a good person at heart. To be continued

Restaurant La Terrasse, a refreshing stop. We received a very warm welcome from a fantastic hostess, always smiling and with a great sense of humor. Not to mention the excellent food, especially the eels. If you're passing through Damvix, a stop is a must.

We had a wonderful meal with the €16 set menu, featuring refined cuisine and expertly prepared ingredients, making it a truly elegant and sophisticated restaurant. The waitress also provided very friendly service. As a result, we're staying two more days to return!

We were all delighted with our meal. The food was perfect, cooked to perfection, the cuts of meat were beautiful, the cooked shrimp appetizer was excellent, and the chef's sauce was a delight. As for the desserts, they were not only very pretty but also excellent. The service was pleasant, with the staff keeping an eye on the table to ensure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend it.

07/05/2026: We went there as a group of four on a Saturday to celebrate the wedding of a couple of friends. It was a wonderful culinary experience with a four-hour cruise along the Sèvre River. A knowledgeable and humorous guide described the history of the marshes from 150,000 BC to the present day throughout the cruise—fascinating! The food was very good and the portions were just right. A must-do if you're hosting friends in the area; excellent value for money, and reservations are essential. This activity is seasonal.
24/04/2026: I came to your establishment today for the cruise. No complaints about the food or the service. However, I was upset by Mr. Christian, who was very mocking towards me. I don't know what I did to him; he'll probably tell me it was just a joke. He said he didn't like me, that I was rich. Which is absolutely not true—a necklace given to me by my daughters with my grandchildren's names on it. Oh yes, it has great sentimental value. The rest is just trinkets. So, I went home this evening, upset about being treated like that.

26/04/2026: We went there on a Saturday at lunchtime and ate on the terrace, which is very pleasant with a lovely view of the bridge and the church of Damvix and close to the water; we received a very warm welcome; we chose the first set menu, which included poached skate as a main course, which was excellent with beautifully presented vegetables; we will be back.
25/04/2026: A lovely evening in the gentle spring weather, surrounded by the tranquility of the Marais Poitevin. The dishes, remarkable for their apparent simplicity, were beautifully presented, generous, and without unnecessary fuss. The service was attentive and kind.
