Don't usually love chain restaurants but this is a good one. We'd go back for sure

It was my first visit to Les 3 Brasseurs, and I found the prices quite reasonable considering the quality of the food. I even discovered my very first poutine there: a real treat! Unfortunately, the experience was marred by the attitude of one of the waitresses. I understand that the service can be tiring, but that doesn't justify a lack of courtesy. I had ordered a Liège waffle with caramel sauce, which, according to the menu, was supposed to be served with ice cream or whipped cream. Not paying attention to the "or whipped cream," I assumed it would automatically come with ice cream. After about fifteen minutes of waiting, the waffle arrived... without ice cream, of course. When I pointed this out, the waitress replied, visibly annoyed, "You should have told me you wanted ice cream, but it's fine, I'll bring you some." "Wouldn't it have been simpler to let me know when I ordered, when you realized I'd forgotten, that a choice had to be made? Or to ask me what I preferred? Pressed for time because I had to get back to work, I couldn't wait any longer. The result: no ice cream, a rude remark, and a dessert charged at full price, despite the absence of an advertised item. I left disappointed to end this good meal on such a negative note. Unfortunately, it doesn't make me want to come back.
