Great time with excellent mussels and fries

What a delightful visit we had at restaurant Bué Les Quatre Chemins in Sens-sur-Seille! On a beautiful Saturday afternoon in August 2026, we sat on the terrace under a sheltered canopy, with the characteristic light green tablecloths featuring a leaf-shaped pattern and the cute toad napkin rings that appear everywhere. The atmosphere is informal, friendly, and typically French country: exactly what you want during a relaxed lunch stop. We ordered two Coca-Colas, the Salade repas pêcheur, and the Escalope volaille. The salad was an absolute feast for the eyes and the taste buds: fresh lettuce, juicy prawns, smoked salmon, lemon wedges, small toasts with a creamy, spicy topping, and a fresh dressing. Everything was perfectly seasoned and looked neat. The escalope de volaille was at least as impressive: tender chicken breast in a creamy, spicy sauce with fresh herbs, cherry tomatoes, green beans, and fried potato slices. The sauce was rich without being heavy, and the vegetables were crisp and flavorful. A nice detail: the fries that came with the salad were in the photo with the other dish. That made the escalope plate even more complete and flavorful. The fries themselves were golden brown, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside – exactly how fries should be. Together with the two colas, it was a complete, balanced lunch that was neither too much nor too little. The service was friendly and efficient, the portions generous, and the value for money excellent (45 euros for two main courses and two drinks). The website states that they are closed on Monday evenings and Tuesdays, so plan your visit accordingly. We will definitely be back here and highly recommend Bué Les Quatre Chemins to anyone in the area looking for honest, flavorful French cuisine in a warm, relaxed setting. Highly recommended!

Passing through on our motorcycle road trip, and wow, everything was perfect from the main course to dessert. The service was impeccable, served quickly, and the staff were super friendly and smiling. Honestly, fantastic. I highly recommend it! 😀

I've been to this restaurant several times and the food is always excellent. A nice touch is that they serve biscuits with the appetizers. I had the fried trout, which was delicious. The service is excellent, as is the food. I highly recommend it!

Get back on track after your troubles and try to keep that terrace road a secret from us...good luck

A warm welcome awaits you in this little green haven, whose specialty is frog. The food was good (hot dishes), but I wasn't very impressed with the service: - The starters were presented rather crudely - The wait was a bit long, especially on a Sunday lunchtime. However, we should mention that the staff were very accommodating for last-minute reservations. PS: I wouldn't recommend the tiramisu, though, as it had the texture of crème anglaise rather than a firm mascarpone.

We had frogs' legs there today, very well cooked as usual. The desserts are very good, homemade. It's a shame the dining room is so noisy. Otherwise, always very good.
