A very pleasant lunch at Les 5 Bouchons, on the beautiful Place Nationale (shady side at midday). Original menu with good local products. Really very good, a good discovery that I recommend to lovers of sophisticated and affordable French cuisine (27€ starter, main course, dessert). The waitress is also very pleasant and efficient. Only slight downside: the cooking of the beef meatballs and the pasta, a little overcooked for me. Other than that great, thank you very much!

Hier soir au menu, lentilles, oeuf et hareng fumé par la maison se répondent au ris de veau pommes grenailles puis vient le meilleur tiramisu aux fraises de ma vie. Les yeux s’écarquillent au passage des plats qui sont présentés de façon élégante. À droite la dame regarde son poisson comme si c’était la première fois qu’elle en mangeait et pourtant il n’y a rien d’extraordinaire à cette présentation si ce n’est « ce petit supplément d’âme » que le cuisinier apporte à ses plats sans autre prétention que celle de vous faire plaisir. La carte des vins est à l’image du menu, une sélection de vins qui ne font ni mal à la tête ni au portefeuille. Les yeux fermés, le coeur ouvert, pour le moment une des meilleures tables du coin.

A warm welcome awaits in the heart of this charming town. The kitchen produces splendid dishes showcasing local ingredients. The prices are modest, the ambiance mellow, the clientele, mostly locals and regulars, are happy and appreciated. Professional service and pleasant local wine. A delightful venue.
