Fantastic experience at this little beachfront restaurant. Hugely underrated, the food is absolutely delicious. The best duck breast I've ever had. A warm and friendly welcome; the place is perfect for a great time with friends.

As stated on the menu, the tapas are only meant to accompany the wine; it's not really a restaurant… so go there if you're really not in a hurry to eat.

We went twice for aperitifs during our one-day stay in Trouville. The wine and Calvados were excellent, as were the oysters and mussels. Fair prices. The owner offers attentive and courteous service.

Incredible experience. The setting is exceptional, and the food and service are equally outstanding. The sea bass ceviche is exquisite, the fries are homemade, and the profiteroles (to share or not) are to die for. The staff will be happy to recommend the perfect wines for you. I don't know her name, but I wanted to thank the waitress, who wears glasses and was absolutely wonderful to me when she saw I wasn't feeling well. Thank you so much for this experience. Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos, as my phone battery died that evening, but the memories will last!

Les Mouettes

24/08/2026: My sister and I decided to spend the day in Trouville with the children. After being turned away from a nearby restaurant because we were with them, we were welcomed by Les Mouettes. We almost felt like thanking the previous restaurant. The welcome, the service, and the professionalism of the waiter were very pleasant. As for the food, it was all fresh and delicious, from the shrimp/mussels to the fish and chips, not to mention the fries, which weren't frozen (a definite plus in terms of taste). All we can say is thank you.
