Les Americains sur Lavaur

A very pleasant place with excellent drinks and cheaper than other bistros.

Since the Grand Café opened, we've been there several times with family and friends. The welcome is warm, the service is quick and friendly, and the drinks are delicious and less expensive than elsewhere. It's a real asset to downtown Lavaur, which is thriving thanks to this café. We can't wait to try their food soon. I highly recommend it!

A wonderful experience! I was walking past "Le Grand Café" – Séverine and Tristan, a couple, took over the former "Les Américains" this summer – on a Monday afternoon. I was hot and thirsty, and since it was open and I hadn't been since the reopening under new ownership, I thought I'd give it a try 😊 Service, responsiveness, and the waitress's friendliness were excellent. Prices were also very reasonable (€3.20 for a Coke Zero instead of €3.50 at Cristal, for example...). It's open on Monday afternoons 👍🏻 The terrace is lovely 😍 The music/playlist was also very good (rock/pop, 80s/90s hits...) I believe they accept credit cards. I recommend this place and will definitely be back; next time it will probably be to try their food 😊 Thank you to the team at Le Grand Café 😊 and welcome to Lavaur! 🙏🏻☀️ P.S.: It would be great if you could create a Facebook and/or Instagram account, I think 😊 These days, it's a really good way to get noticed, build a network and connections, and interact with your (future) clients 👍🏻
