Fantastic welcome, delicious duck confit, great atmosphere. I've decided I'll be back tomorrow. An added bonus: we were served immediately after we sat down. Excellent service. A perfect experience.

What can I say? Friendly and welcoming, cozy, but a little noisy—phew, I've found something negative! So I'm giving it 6 out of 7 stars for its friendly atmosphere with the young people who frequent this place. It would be a pleasure to return to this good, inexpensive, and truly excellent restaurant.

Excuse me, I'm reiterating my opinion because I have some doubts about whether the service was conducted properly. I'm a loyal customer of Les Artisans, I love their "coquillettes, truffle, ham, parmesan" dish (my daughter, who's in Mauritius for an internship, tells me by email how much she misses it), and I highly recommend this place. Special mention to Mattéo, who is a very attentive waiter. Hélène Nico

L'Auberge D'Chez Eux

10/07/2025: Highly recommend and will visit again. We visited for a late lunch on a beautiful sunny afternoon. The food was outstanding, as well as the service. Our server Ryan was attentive, polite and prompt. We ordered a tomato salad and escargot for starters, steak and fish of the day as main dishes and the pear tart for dessert.
06/07/2025: Those sensitive to air conditioning may want to mention this early on. At our request, it was switched on and off several times. The restaurant wasn't bad overall; the rack of lamb could have been better (Hotel Bebber in Aachen), the steak was good, the pepper sauce a bit thin but spicy. The fried frog legs must have been frozen; they tasted OK, but a bit too much fat/oil. The recommended tomato salad—admittedly not small—was very good, but at €26, it was the most expensive we've ever eaten. The Tronquoy Lanlande 2012 is highly recommended.
