I recommend without hesitation. Twice in one week, two different dishes and I enjoyed it both times. Lovely waiters and the atmosphere is amazing. I'll come back to it, that's for sure.

While passing through Paris, I really liked this place, the staff is very friendly and funny, the decoration is really great and original. The drinks are very good.

Great discovery of this magnificent bistro with a very friendly atmosphere! As for the menu, very varied, I ate the duck confit, the best in Paris! Very warm welcome from Benjamin and Bilel, all smiles and the owner manages with kindness and efficiency, great team, it's a pleasure! I'll come back soon!

Restaurant is very popular amongst the locals and busy in the evening, so it would be wise to make a reservation. The duck confit is amazing as well as the chocolate mousse. This is our second time here and it was just as good as the first time.

04/09/2024: Services are held during the week in addition to Shabbat. Welcoming in the heart of the ghetto.
31/08/2024: This place was DELICIOUS! I am a big fan of cheese fondue, and this was my first fondue in Paris. Absolutely amazing...another great part, was they allowed me to get fondue by myself. I travel alone, and many fondue restaurants were 2 person minimum. Pain Vin Fromage had fondue for 1. Also, this place is not on a main road in France. It is tucked away in a little alley off a back road in Paris. That is how you know the food is good. I know in the US, places off the main paths often make the best food. Pain Vin Fromage is a small, cozy, place. Great for couples, families, group of friends, and lone travelers. Thank you, so much for an unforgettable experience! I will be back when I return to Paris at some point.

L'Auberge D'Chez Eux

10/07/2025: Highly recommend and will visit again. We visited for a late lunch on a beautiful sunny afternoon. The food was outstanding, as well as the service. Our server Ryan was attentive, polite and prompt. We ordered a tomato salad and escargot for starters, steak and fish of the day as main dishes and the pear tart for dessert.
06/07/2025: Those sensitive to air conditioning may want to mention this early on. At our request, it was switched on and off several times. The restaurant wasn't bad overall; the rack of lamb could have been better (Hotel Bebber in Aachen), the steak was good, the pepper sauce a bit thin but spicy. The fried frog legs must have been frozen; they tasted OK, but a bit too much fat/oil. The recommended tomato salad—admittedly not small—was very good, but at €26, it was the most expensive we've ever eaten. The Tronquoy Lanlande 2012 is highly recommended.
