Located on the banks of the Allan in Montbéliard, this French restaurant stands out for its refined cuisine and tasty dishes, such as tuna à la plancha with wok vegetables and beef fillet with morels. The atmosphere is pleasant with music and a beautiful terrace. Special mention for the trompe-l’oeil cigar dessert and the impeccable service. One of the best addresses in the city.

Very good experience. Discovery of the “floral arrangement” dessert, a delicious trompe-l’oeil. The duck breast is a perfect balance. An ideal blend of flavors! Also grilled tuna.

Got the recommendation from a lady at the tourist information office and it was worth going there. The ambiance was scenic. We sat by the water at a terrace and had a lovely warm summer evening to choose from a menu full of delicious dishes. We ordered asparagus and smoked trout and a salad with crayfish as a starter. Very good! And the main were monk fish with raspberries and pees and a tartare made from duck breast! Excellent! The wine from the region was a very nice rose. All in all a very nice dinner and a highly recommended place if you are around!

L’architecture extérieure est très chouette, pur style Art Nouveau. La décoration intérieure est bien, mais n’a pas laissé beaucoup de place aux origines du lieu. Je n’ai pas vu (sauf terrasse extérieure) de tables et assises classiques : on est soit bas soit en hauteur. Le service n’est pas souriant et un peu précaire (la bouteille de vin est vidée à plus de la moitié du verre, il faut demander le pain qui n’est d’ailleurs pas débarrassé pour le dessert). Le plat choisi : risotto truffes et foie gras poêlé est très riche et manque vraiment de délicatesse. Bref, petite déception…
