Les Barbus sur Pertuis

After a very bad experience at the beginning of my stay at the restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised at the Pertuis funfair. The waiter was very friendly and smiling. The food was excellent; the pulled beef sandwich and the panisse fries, whether to take away or eat in, were a great success! The meat was exquisite! The waiter was unfriendly. We waited a very long time—1 hour and 15 minutes—even though there were few customers. They were stingy; they didn't even offer a peanut to tide us over, and only five pieces of bread for seven people, and that's not all... The food lacked flavor. We were all disappointed.

A wonderful restaurant that truly deserves its reputation. Lunch on the terrace today, under a generous sun, was the perfect Wednesday in Pertuis. And everything else lived up to the setting. First, the service: quick, attentive, and genuinely pleasant. You don't feel like just another number, but truly like a valued customer—a rare and welcome experience. On the plate, the filet mignon with blue cheese sauce was remarkable: perfectly tender meat, a precisely seasoned sauce that never overpowered the flavors. For dessert, the vanilla mille-feuille was as beautiful as it was delicious: expertly crafted puff pastry, meticulous presentation, a truly satisfying finale. The Gault & Millau certification? Totally deserved. Congratulations to the entire team.
