On the evening of January 1st, Mornac was deserted and cold... We went to the restaurant Les Basses Amarres. The atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming.
It was busy; the locals were there, which was a good sign!
The cuisine was refined, perfectly balanced, and delicious. You won't be disappointed...
The service was impeccable.
The bill was very reasonable considering the quality of the food.
We highly recommend it.
We were looking forward to spending a friendly time with excellent food. Very warm welcome, nice setting. On the other hand, the squid was far too dry and the veal, the side dish, the potatoes too dry, the dessert was impeccable too, we expected better.
Everything was fine, but unfortunately, there was no smoking ban on the terrace, so two ill-mannered people (you can't buy good manners) smoked out 25 non-smokers with their cigarettes.
Restaurateurs should take responsibility and implement a ban.
