A gourmet gem in the heat of summer

Discovering this restaurant was a truly delightful experience. Nestled in the village square, opposite the fountain, it's a hidden gem! The welcome and service were exceptional, the cuisine delicious, and the chef attentive to everyone's needs (he even made us freshly cooked mashed potatoes). The prices were very reasonable, and the decor was beautifully designed! I highly recommend it for an evening with friends or a romantic dinner.

Delicious and generous portions. Kudos to the chef, but especially to the person who described the dishes and wines to us, making our mouths water even before we ordered. Of course, it was mid-August, and the terrace was nice and warm for lunch. We'll be back in the evening!

The chef and journalist from La Dépêche du Midi had visited this establishment in July, and as a food expert, Rodolphe Lafarge recommended this restaurant in Bages as a sure bet. That's how we came to book a table in this unique setting in a typical village, the kind you still find in Corsica, for example. Kiran, our head waiter, gave us a perfect welcome, and the terrace was warm and inviting. There, Chef Franck introduced us to his unique, complex, and generous dishes, such as his duck foie gras and Mediterranean bluefin tuna. We continued with the ribeye steak with chanterelles and crushed potatoes, as well as the line-caught sea bass grilled on its skin and the fricassee of langoustines and prawns with small vegetables from his garden, with an old-fashioned flavor that's no longer found. And let's not forget the perfectly cooked gratinated mussels, with their authentic taste. We enjoyed a small glass of rosé from Argeliers and treated ourselves to lemon tarts and sorbet. Chantilly cream In short! Just writing these lines makes my mouth water. This restaurant is a must-try in this beautiful little village on the edge of the Bages lagoon, especially since the prices are quite affordable for all budgets and cheaper than some restaurants on the coast. We thank the entire team who run this lovely establishment and we hope to see you very soon to try the rest of their menu.

Beautiful setting. Super friendly and attentive waiter. Delicious meal (pork pluma and salmon tartare). A must-try. We'll be back this winter. A wonderful discovery 🙏

The interior is beautifully decorated with pleasant background music. The servers are very friendly and happy to chat when they have a moment. It's definitely worth a visit!
