Les Berges sur Thivars

We went there as a family. Upon arrival, the very friendly waitress helped my grandmother up the stairs and escorted her to her table. We were seated in the dining room with a lovely view of the canals. The chairs were very comfortable and the room very pleasant. One small drawback: as we were with a 92-year-old deaf woman, the acoustics were rather poor; it echoed a bit too much. The waiter was very friendly, always with a joke or a helpful tip. The food was very good; expect to pay €40 for a two-course meal (starter and main or main and dessert), or €49 for the full three-course meal. A non-alcoholic mojito is €10, and an iced tea is €5—what I call Parisian prices! We had a wonderful time, and the restaurant is wheelchair accessible. I'm deducting one star for the price compared to other restaurants in the area.

We received a "champagne dinner" gift voucher for Christmas. We loved everything from start to finish. Everything is designed to ensure guests have a wonderful time and enjoy a delicious meal. From the little appetizers served with the aperitif to the small chocolate that accompanies the coffee, it was perfect! We absolutely loved this restaurant! 🤩

We thoroughly enjoyed the three-course meal (starter, main, dessert) at a reasonable price. We received a very warm welcome. The service was excellent.

A fantastic meal for the saint's day. Honestly, we'll come back to try it on other days, as it seems to be a very high-quality restaurant. Exceptional value for money. But we'll have to see if this is the case with the daily menus.

We were already familiar with La Table des Berges, and this return visit for Valentine's Day confirmed all our positive impressions. From 7:45 pm to 10:20 pm, everything was perfectly orchestrated: precise cuisine, high-quality ingredients, attentive service, and an elegant setting that invites relaxation. The homemade foie gras with its brioche bun, the cod with leeks, the poultry served with a creamy purée and Jerusalem artichoke chips, not to mention the Tomme cheese and the delicate dessert… each dish was a true balance of flavors. The Mailly Grand Cru champagne enhanced the experience before a coffee brought this wonderful culinary journey to a close. The team also deserves praise: professional, welcoming, with a perfectly measured touch of humor that made the experience even more enjoyable. When everything comes together—cuisine, service, ambiance—the bill becomes secondary. This was once again exactly the case. We came for a friend's birthday. A very nice restaurant, beautiful and delicious dishes! The small aperitif we shared was also excellent. The waitress was fantastic, funny, and always smiling! We had a wonderful evening. We'll definitely be back!

We were fortunate enough to be able to reserve this charming venue for our entire event. The owner's welcome and professionalism, along with the service, were truly exceptional. Their kindness, attentiveness, and support made this event unforgettable. From the cocktail hour with its parade of delicious dishes, each one more exquisite than the last, to the dessert, it was a festival of flavors with a magnificent presentation. Absolutely delicious! The staff is warm and attentive to their customers' well-being, and the menu is homemade. In short, excellent! I highly recommend it.
