Excellent crêperie with generous portions, beautiful presentation for a reasonable price, I recommend it!

Bretons passing through Mauriac. Lovers and connoisseurs of Breton galettes/crêpes, we discovered the crêperie La Ouessantine. It's top-notch! The crêpes are delicious, the welcome is warm, and the crêperie's decor is very tasteful! We absolutely recommend it.

Today, Saturday, it was hard to find a restaurant in Mauriac... And we arrived at this crêperie. Pleasant little room, lots of people. Quite disappointed by the minimal selection for this Saturday... So, 2 scallop crêpes. The crêpe was cold at the bottom of the plate, and the filling on top was good, but lukewarm!!! A pitcher of good cider... A crêpe with sugar that I was hoping would be hot... Alas, lukewarm.....and a coffee. The lady who served us was friendly and kind... But alone....1 hour and 45 minutes... that's a lot 🫢

Another visit to this crêperie, always so good (La Forestière!), the dry cider, the homemade ice creams, etc. The staff were very attentive, we were able to eat on the terrace, in the sun, in short, we had a great time.

The pancakes are very good and the setting is pleasant.

In August in France, it seems difficult to find a restaurant to dine at. So our trip consisted of trying to settle down every evening before 7 p.m. to find room and board, as well as a "fast" charging station for our small electric car (which charges in 1.5 hours or more). Ideally, the restaurant should be close to the station. La Ouessantine met our criteria, and above all, there were few other options... But there was nothing to complain about in the welcome, the food, or the setting of this restaurant, which turned out to be a haven of calm and conviviality. Thank you.
