Les Capucins sur Avallon

While passing through Avallon we stopped for a night in this hotel with its cozy atmosphere. Spacious comfortable quiet room. A backyard accommodates cars in a parking lot closed at night and designed for electric cars. You can also eat there with 2 menus to choose from or à la carte dishes, delicious meal and end of starter to dessert for my part gizzard salad as starter and trout fillet as main course and lemon meringue tart as accompanied dessert a delicious little Chablis all for €25. In the morning we were treated to a good classic breakfast. All this supervised by welcoming staff. We will come back to it on our next visit.

Bedroom in the attic, very low ceiling and dated. Fortunately it was cheap. Apart from that the hotel is well located with efficient service.

Very well received Convenient location off the highway Easy parking Rooms a little "old" but very comfortable (bedding, bathroom heating very good) Good breakfast The restaurant seems famous (we'll think about it next time)

Nice hotel, we were well received! We had dinner at the hotel restaurant which I found expensive compared to what was served...

The lady greets us with a smile, but the gentleman is as gracious as a prison door (you should think about changing jobs if you don't like contact with people). Dated decor, price too high compared to the quality. I do not recommend.
