Bravo to the whole team! The room was fantastic, the food 100% homemade, and the breakfast was excellent too. I highly recommend this hotel and restaurant. Bravo! 👍 👍 👍

Ideally located, this hotel is super convenient! You can eat there. The rooms have been recently renovated and are much nicer now. Only downside: the brownie during my last stay was cold and hard.

I have very fond memories of my stay at this hotel. While the rooms in the older section could use a little updating, the hotel as a whole is very pleasant and close to the city center for walking. Special thanks to the staff whose welcome and dinner service were impeccable.

We had dinner there but didn't stay overnight. The welcome was warm, and the meal was good value for money. We had the €38 set menu (starter/main/dessert), which was very good. I recommend it.

The staff were charming and attentive. The ground-floor room was spacious and very well laid out. We had an excellent meal in a dining room with plenty of space between the tables. We will definitely return.

We came just to eat, and the food was very good. The service was very pleasant and efficient. One small drawback, however: it can get noisy quickly when there are large groups.

15/04/2026: The food was quite tasty, well-prepared, and seasoned. Perhaps a little pricey for what it was. The downside that day was the wait, or even the fact that some customers were forgotten, as the number of staff serving was too low compared to the number of customers at the tables.
13/04/2026: We were familiar with Dame Jeanne d’Avalon in the past, but this time we met new people (due to a change of ownership). Gone is the slightly old-fashioned feel of Dame Jeanne’s former tea room and restaurant, where tourists and office workers used to flock at lunchtime to enjoy the owner’s homemade cooking… Now, a young chef is working in the kitchen, while his young partner, among other things, serves in the dining room and on the lovely garden terrace. A good first impression already; to be continued.

23/01/2026: Set menu of the day €18, very good, generous portions... Quick and efficient service. Excellent value for money.
04/01/2026: Set menu, one starter only, choice of two main courses, and one dessert only. Excellent value for money. The restaurant decor is rather cold...you don't want to linger, no atmosphere or warmth. It's not the same as when we were used to the previous owners, but the food is good, which is the main thing.
