Great country restaurant. The dishes are very well prepared, balanced, and full of delicious ingredients. The menu isn't suitable for a big eater. But for a leisurely lunch, it's perfect.

15/08/2026: A magical, timeless place. I first discovered Le Relax about ten years ago, always on the road with my band. One Sunday around 3 p.m., we arrived in Avallon, having found nothing to eat along the way, and stumbled upon Le Relax! Jean-Luc gave us a very warm welcome, and Mireille's cooking was simple, delicious, and hearty—we were won over! Since then, whenever we go to the South of France, a stop at Le Relax is a must. We eat, we drink (except for the driver!), and we even get our instruments out at the end of the meal to finish in style—that's Jean-Luc's passion! Mireille even gave me her recipe for Époisses cheese sauce... A real treat! In short, if you're passing through Avallon around lunchtime, Le Relax is a place you absolutely must go for a casual, unpretentious meal! Try it, and you'll be hooked!
27/07/2026: A delightful discovery on our way back from vacation: simple yet delicious food at affordable prices. The owner is a colorful character, passionate about his work. Highly recommended if you're ever in the area.

20/08/2026: Returning today for the umpteenth time, it's always a real pleasure to enjoy all these delicious dishes, served with friendliness by exceptional staff. You absolutely must stop by when you're in Avallon; you won't be disappointed.
17/08/2026: The homemade burger was truly excellent, and the fries were great too. Good value for money.
