We came with friends and children, and everyone loved it! The setting is beautiful, the package is suitable for all ages, and the visit in the middle of the meal to break things up was really nice! In short, we highly recommend it!!!

An unusual place; we were a little worried at the beginning of our meal when we saw that the fouées were being served to us in small batches. In the end, the waitresses handled it well and we didn't want for anything 😁 The welcome was friendly, the waitresses attentive, the setting is lovely, and relatively quiet for this type of establishment. We will return and recommend this place.

An exceptional troglodyte site thanks to: The quality of the welcome, The meal of fouées, a specialty from Anjou, made with small, warm, wood-fired bread rolls filled with mushrooms, rillettes, white beans, and mini-rillauds, all accompanied at the beginning of the meal by a sweet white Coteaux du Layon, a delicious Chenin Blanc. And a red wine from the same region. All this in abundance, followed by cheeses with salad and then a chocolate pear tart. A real treat! There's also a special menu for young children. We spent these delightful moments by the fireplace and its crackling wood fire. Of course, for those who don't know, troglodyte means underground dwelling. Here, it's a troglodyte dwelling in the plains. A small open-air quarry, about ten meters deep, was begun in the falun (a type of limestone) in the 10th century. More than 1000 years ago! And this is for use as a dwelling, a refuge, a farm, a communal living space. What's truly exceptional is that instead of the traditional "trou normand" (a small glass of Calvados served between courses), you get a self-guided tour of the entire underground village. Furthermore, the price is very reasonable (less than €30 per person) for quality, homemade products. A big thank you to the whole team.

A beautiful, authentic place. Excellent and generous food. Lovely staff, attentive to our requests. Enjoyable tour of the oven and pleasant conversation with the baker. A truly wonderful experience. Highly recommended.
