Fantastic concept! Surprising, delicious, and original, this experience offers a unique way to discover the region's culinary specialties as well as its troglodyte dwellings and villages. In the middle of your meal, you're invited to explore the troglodyte village surrounding the restaurant. Be aware that the set menu might be surprising, but it's what makes the concept so original and authentic.

Original menu featuring only local dishes. A pleasant encounter with the baker who prepares fouaces (a type of flatbread).

Another experience recommended by our Gité hosts. Absolutely fantastic. 6 course dinner with wine and an exploration of the Troglodyte caves all for €23. This is a family business founded in 1991 by the grand parents who are cooking the bread. The parents are in the kitchen and the grand children are running the restaurant. You need to reserve a table. A sweet white wine for starters and then jugs of red or white with your meal. The exploration of the caves was a great interlude between courses. There is parking in the village about 20 metres away or an overflow car park about 100 metres away. We had a lovely walk around the village after our meal.

Here, the setting surpasses everything. The food is good, rustic, centered around fouasse bread, but it's especially the cave dwellings, the coolness of the walls, and the originality of the place (a visit to the caves mid-meal and a chat with the cook who bakes in the cave's bread oven) that will make this moment unforgettable (even if the rillons are fantastic! 😉)
In short, an experience!

A truly delightful and unique experience: excellent cuisine, very friendly staff, and the cellar tour is a wonderfully original addition.
The prices are more than reasonable, including a full menu from aperitif to coffee, as well as drinks during the meal!

An unusual restaurant with a set menu of €27 per adult and €10 per child, all-inclusive.
The meal was hearty and delicious.
We received a very warm welcome with our two daughters (3 years old and 9 months old. Thank you for the high chair! 👍). Our stroller fit, but a second one wouldn't have been necessary in the dining room (otherwise, it would have been better to leave it outside). There's a changing table in the restrooms (located at the entrance to the property).
I highly recommend it! ☺️

An incredible and excellent experience. I loved it. Inexpensive considering everything it includes and the overall experience. Perfect during a heatwave...

A truly unique place, worth a visit at least once! A very typical and friendly restaurant.
With the heat, we found a welcome respite from the heat!

You absolutely must stop and eat at this restaurant! The cuisine, centered around the local specialty "fouace," is delicious! You literally eat in a troglodyte cave. The service is excellent. The post-meal stroll is very pleasant and allows you to see how the fouace is made. The price is truly affordable for the quality of the experience.
