Very good cuisine, lobster with saffron sauce is recommended. Very pleasant setting and attentive service. One of the best addresses in this part of the Pays de Gex, and place of choice for special events with loved ones. I will definitely come back.

Everything you need to feel good in this carefully decorated place. Aperitif possible on the terrace also during the Indian summer. Impeccable service to highlight this cuisine of quality products. The setting is magnificent, the service impeccable and the wine list is worth a detour. The dishes, although very well crafted and subtly mastered, in my opinion lack real accompaniment to deserve 5 stars. I would have appreciated a small portion of starchy foods to complement the main course. That said, I admit, criticism is easy... I had a very pleasant evening 👍

Last night, my partner and I had the pleasure of dining at Petit Cep, and what an unforgettable experience! As soon as we arrived, the charming and refined setting immediately won us over. The waiters, attentive and kind, knew how to make our evening all the more pleasant with their impeccable service. I started with a pan-fried duck foie gras, perfectly executed, followed by a yellow chicken from Ain accompanied by a simply divine morel sauce. Each bite was a real treat for the taste buds! To top it all off, the cheese platter rounded off this meal exquisitely. A must-see address for food lovers! Well done.

A magnificent setting, certainly. A terrace with trees and flowers, well-set tables, a rustic and classy atmosphere at the same time. Affable staff, cheerful cook. Alright. The only thing is, we came to EAT, and not have an aperitif dinner. We took the cheapest menu (49 euros anyway!) and we were served ridiculous portions... I didn't take a photo, not having the macro function on my camera. I'm joking but when I saw the plates arriving, I felt bad. Like a feeling of having been tricked. What's more, I won't wake up at night to think about this random taste experience. So my mother and I stuffed ourselves with bread so as not to go out hungry. The bread was very good, by the way. I move on to drinks: the smallest glass of red is 14 euros! We are near Switzerland, everything is allowed… So, we opted for homemade sparkling water (with tap water, no doubt) at 6 euros for 75 cl. It’s true that the gas price has increased significantly… In short, the setting is enchanting but the bill is damn steep for what is lost in the middle of the plate. I expressed my dissatisfaction on the spot but no reaction. We won't be coming back, that's for sure. We do not refuse to pay but for a certain quality and at least enough to eat.
