Les Champs Elysées sur Le Havre

10/05/2024: A very nice find for lunch by chance... the daily menu is fresh and delicious. A no-fuss address and good food for excellent value for money.

05/04/2024: We spent a long time choosing our restaurant for our last night in France. The menu seemed to fit our requirements of a fish eater and a meat eater. We selected oysters and fois gras off to a good start. Then came the main Margret du canard and Dorade we were offered chips and haricot beans or salad. So the sauce on the duck was far too salty from soy sauce what a shame as duck was well cooked but the fish wasn’t even cooked through! And no haricots arrived…The poor waiter couldn’t apologise enough. A new fish was cooked but we ate alone! The chef was on site and at the bar when we paid full price and not a murmur of an apology or a discount offered. Disappointed with the cooking of the food.
