Les Chants d'Avril sur Nantes

A very very very good surprise! I loved everything, from the appetizer to the dessert. It was very tasty, full of subtle blends of flavors. I felt like I was eating at a Michelin-starred restaurant++ because it was so well executed, but for an unbeatable price. We had the chance to chat with the chef at the end of the service, a man passionate about his profession, the products of his region, invested in original cuisine, pleasure, heart. I loved the concept of the mystery menu to discover new things because it's true that I rarely choose new dishes... Typically, I would never have chosen dessert: pan-fried pineapple, yogurt ice cream with lots of decorative tips and taste (lemon, coconut) on the plate. Special mention for this dessert! 😋 Without a doubt, I will come back to taste another mystery menu with April songs the next time I pass through Nantes. It changes every day.

Always a real pleasure to come and spend a pleasant and friendly time, me being a vegetarian it's always complicated to satisfy myself and well it's done, I enjoyed myself 😋the wine offered was magnificent, we had a great time , the welcome, the meal and the place is really great 👍🏿 I highly recommend. EXCELLENT address in a city where there are many good restaurants... A welcoming, old-fashioned decor, in which you immediately feel good because it is authentic and without unnecessary fuss. We are received friendly and served attentively. The main thing is above all on the plate...EVERYTHING is delicious and prepared with fresh daily produce cooked with inventiveness and know-how by a chef who has worked in some well-known restaurants in the Paris region. A surprise menu is imposed at a low price and the same goes for the wines judiciously chosen by a young (but very competent) sommelier. Run there quickly for a gourmet moment!!!

Good restaurant, we go there a few times. But we are systematically served pasta as vegetarians, which is a shame. The service is good (pleasant and very smiling waiters) but I take away points for the atmosphere after hearing the cook curse "fu**** veggies" while going to the toilets which juxtapose the kitchens, the last time we were there went If they don't want to serve vegetarians, you have to say so! :)

Very surprised by the particularity of this restaurant. Very pleasant experience, excellent tastes and warm and friendly service. Furthermore, they took great care in respecting the requests related to food restrictions. I highly recommend it and can't wait to return.

Cela faisait un moment que l'on souhaitait tester les Chants d'Avril, très, très bien, des assiettes pleines de saveur, on y retournera.

Une bonne cuisine, mais les vins sont largement surfactures, on nous a servi 3 sortes de muscadet tres banal au prix du verre de 7€, 7,50€ et 8€ soit 23,50€ pour un menu de 25€. Je suis déçu de l'expérience.
