On the way back from Nice, a truly authentic local restaurant! Restaurant des Chasseurs offers delicious, home-style cooking, prepared entirely on-site with fresh ingredients. The welcome is exceptional; you immediately feel at ease in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the food. A generous couple, both in their hospitality and the quality of the food—a big thank you! 😊🙏🏻 A wonderful place to recommend without hesitation!

Absolutely delighted with our Sunday lunch. A warm welcome, a friendly atmosphere, and delicious, home-style French cuisine. The beef cheek stew was melt-in-your-mouth tender, the tripe excellent, and the old-fashioned desserts, like banana splits, Dame Blanche (vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce), and chocolate-almond fondant cakes, among many others, were wonderful. A nice touch: homemade jams and blood orange preserves in jars for sale. I chose a plum jam made with plums from their own garden. A real treat! We came for lunch today. The meals were generally good, though far from being as hearty as the reviews suggest. My five-year-old daughter has a small appetite. So we always share the meal if there isn't a children's menu. My manager told us it would be five euros if we didn't order a dish for our little one. We were surprised, so we told her so. We explained that I had never paid for the cutlery because my daughter didn't eat a meal. We told her that we would pay the five euros, but that we were simply very surprised. From that moment on, she was very unpleasant for the rest of the meal. They both went around to all the tables, asking if they had been happy and if people were satisfied. But we weren't at all. So this difference in treatment is far from being customer-friendly. My daughter ordered dessert, but they still charged us the five euros. I find that really unfortunate in such small restaurants. And then to think that it's the same everywhere, in every restaurant, they charge extra when children don't order a main course! I've traveled a lot, I've eaten out a lot. This has never happened to me before.

We stopped by this lovely inn for a meal during a bike tour. We were warmly welcomed by the owners and enjoyed the generous cuisine! We will be back!
