Initially, we chose La Chapelle des Bois for mountain biking... but we also discovered Les Clochettes du Risoux, and it was definitely worth the trip: a couple of owners who were delighted to welcome us, friendly, warm, and attentive—she at reception and he in the kitchen. A beautifully renovated hotel in keeping with local tradition, where you feel right at home, with cuisine that's off the beaten path, yet always light and exquisitely refined. In short, we had a wonderful time.
