Les Commercants sur Clermont-Ferrand

A simple, classic, family-run hotel with a very welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are air-conditioned, which isn't always the case in France, hence the need to mention it. Located right in front of the train station, it's ideal for travelers. Free parking is available behind the hotel, which is also great for backpackers. The staff is truly attentive, and that's the hotel's greatest strength. The owner is a real ray of sunshine, and the staff reflects her personality! Breakfast is almost entirely homemade, and the food in general is very good. Thank you again for the stay.

This café/restaurant is a truly wonderful find; the welcome is incredibly friendly and warm. I didn't try the restaurant itself, but I can say that the aroma of the dishes arriving in the dining room was particularly enticing. I had forgotten my suitcase, and the owner brought it back to me on the train platform just before I boarded my train—what luck to encounter such wonderful people!

Passing through by bike, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of this establishment 😊. The rooms are very clean and the bedding excellent. Perhaps a little old-fashioned, but that has its charm. The restaurant is truly top-notch, with excellent cocktails and dishes, really. And what can we say about the welcome!! All the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. We will definitely return to this hotel on our next trip to Clermont. Well done to the whole team 👍.
