This restaurant had good reviews, however, my dish of the day—turkey and rice in sauce—arrived barely lukewarm, and taste-wise, it was on par with what you'd find in a company cafeteria. The sauce wasn't homemade. In short, I barely touched it. My partner and son fared better with the other dish of the day… but it was still just average.

Excellent value for money: a real chef, real service. It's so refreshing to find something like this. Good ingredients and a real chef make for a delicious meal, served by a smiling and efficient team. Everything was perfect. The clientele is diverse: travelers, locals, workers, "good friends"—it's a great place to be, and you'll want to come back.

While in Barcelonnette visiting the Mexican houses, we had lunch at this restaurant's terrace, opting for the €19 set menu (starter, main course, and dessert). First of all, a big thank you to the waitress for her very warm welcome and attentive service throughout the meal. For starters, the tomato flan with basil sauce was as visually stunning as it was delicious. The veal shoulder (simmered for 5 hours) with carrot and peas was melt-in-your-mouth tender and incredibly flavorful, and the portion was generous. For dessert, the floating islands were the perfect ending to this superb meal. In conclusion, excellent ingredients cooked with precision, generous portions, a focus on presentation, and friendly service. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

The food was good, but unfortunately, we were disappointed with the service. We ordered the daily special and dessert: a set menu normally priced at €18, but without the starter. When we got to the till, we were charged €22.50. We weren't informed beforehand, and we were told we should have ordered the starter, even if we didn't eat it. It's a shame; we simply would have appreciated being told.

A small, unpretentious restaurant and a very pleasant surprise! A proper set menu: starter, main course, and dessert for €18, homemade food, tasty and very generous portions. We will definitely be back!
