Stumbled across the beautiful village of Essoyes and the lovely les berges de l'ource. Spent the afternoon sampling the champagne of one of the local champagne houses as well as chatting to owner and the owner of the bar/restaurant.
Returned there for a meal in the evening, fabulous food and service. Shame we were heading home from our road trip round France would have liked to stay another day.
We will however return. Of the beaten track but what a hidden gem
04/09/2024: The perfectly located hotel offers a magnificent view overlooking the village of Essoyes, which is also a 5-minute walk away. The terrace where the swimming pool is located is very pleasant and well appointed. The hotel has an excellent restaurant where you will find fine and refined dishes.
The cleanliness and general comfort of the establishment is impeccable.
What we remember above all is the kindness, accessibility, efficiency and professionalism of all the staff and management. We stayed for two days with my partner and we were very well received. Thank you again.
You should know that the management changed last March. The new boss has lots of modernization projects for the hotel, which he has already largely implemented given what the previous owners left him. Congratulations to you and good luck in your progress.
We recommend this establishment to everyone. You will definitely have a very good stay there.
