We're traveling in a campervan and stopped for dinner at this restaurant. We were so lucky to find it open; the owners are very friendly, the atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming, and the food is delicious. I wouldn't leave without trying the brioche for dessert—it's incredibly delicious. We might even go back the next morning before we leave for another one as a farewell treat. 100% recommended!

I just learned of the closure of this excellent restaurant. What a sad loss for Roubion, and incomprehensible that the town hall refused to renew the lease. It was a restaurant that was doing very well, though.

Fantastic experience! We came as a family and ate very well: homemade, fresh, local, and high-quality products. The owners were incredibly welcoming. We stayed until 5 pm playing board games and even watching the rugby match on site between coffees, herbal teas, digestifs, and waffles 😬 A very convivial time. I highly recommend it!

A cozy little spot with a fantastic sunny terrace. Simple yet delicious cuisine, using French and locally sourced products whenever possible, but always of the highest quality. The service is cheerful in all weather. Their desire to please is evident from start to finish. Any special request? They're there to accommodate it, and what's more, everything is truly homemade, not just assembled.

Passing through Roubion for a weekend, we discovered this fantastic restaurant! Everything was perfect, from the welcome to the service. And what can we say about the food except that it was excellent? We'll definitely be back!

This is THE restaurant to go to if you're in Roubion! All the products are carefully selected (French, local, organic). Beyond the quality, the meals are excellent. Kudos to the chef! In the dining room, we loved the warm atmosphere; the decor is fantastic. The owner's welcome, attentiveness, and helpfulness make this restaurant a must-visit; in short, you feel right at home.

What an exceptional discovery at this mountain restaurant! Everything is homemade with impeccable quality ingredients, all locally sourced: the generous and flavorful dishes (melting raclette, authentic tartiflette, decadent desserts) burst with flavor and celebrate the true tastes of the mountains. The atmosphere is simply incredible, warm and immersive, like a cozy haven in the heart of the Alps. Discovered L'Alpage during a family reunion this Saturday, March 7, 2026. The setting, the quality and prices of the various dishes (made mostly with local products!), the warm welcome and kindness of the owners—everything was perfect!! 🤩 We had a wonderful time at this establishment; I highly recommend it!

29/06/2026: I stopped for lunch here with a group of motorcyclists, and we were all thrilled! Manu welcomed us as if we were old friends on the terrace of his restaurant, nestled in a stunning location beneath a beautiful rock face. While chatting with him, he explained that he receives many motorcyclists who come to discover the Couillole pass, but since there are often more would-be guests passing through than there are seats, remember to always make a reservation. The village is small, and so is the restaurant (which is very popular), as is the parking lot in front. I therefore suggest not parking in the immediate vicinity of the restaurant, but continuing through the short tunnel carved into the rock. Afterwards, you'll find some parking spaces and finally a nice square. But be careful, because in the vault beneath the tunnel there are swallows' nests with chicks waiting with open beaks for their food!
18/06/2026: We passed by yesterday, Wednesday, on our motorcycle, in the early afternoon, just as the inn was closing. But even so, when we arrived for just two coffees, the owner kindly agreed to serve us, which we greatly appreciated. We will definitely be back to have a proper meal this time. Thank you!

12/07/2026: Cynthia has taken over Joëlle's restaurant with flying colors, much to our delight. It boasts a great atmosphere, homemade cuisine, and a spectacular terrace... In short, it feels just like being at Mom's house 🙂
19/06/2026: Excellent pizza, with a thin and crispy crust, and generous toppings. The service is really good and friendly. The view of the valley and its mountains is absolutely breathtaking. I'll definitely stop by again next time I'm in the area.
