Les Fils à Maman sur Orleans

The restaurant is obviously very nice thanks to its vintage decor; the place's biggest plus. However, the service was quite slow, and the waitress seemed eager to leave towards the end, even though we had taken our order after 25 minutes. My salmon tartare was made with unripe avocado, which was a huge disappointment. When I mentioned it to the waitress, she replied, "Sorry." No, the appropriate response would have been, "I'll report it to the kitchen, and I'll offer you a free coffee/something to make up for it." Having a great concept isn't everything; the waitresses and waitresses are the heart and soul of the place. If they don't keep the business running smoothly, it won't work. Our son loved spending his time reading old comics, and I'll cherish that memory for my family. But as for the "home-style cooking" aspect, there's still a bit of heart to be put into it. 😉

For my first time in Orléans, I was very surprised by this restaurant, which brought back childhood memories and nostalgia. The mini-games on the tables were fun to play between courses! The food was delicious. Special mention to the restrooms, which are quite unique.

The 80s/90s vibe is really cool. The food is also great. However, the price doesn't reflect the quality of the food. The salad wasn't generous enough for my taste, the steaks I ordered rare arrived medium-rare, almost overcooked, and the desserts were nothing special. The value for money was definitely not what I expected.
