Les Flambées Tradition sur Oberhausbergen

Through word of mouth, we discovered this lovely, well-run establishment, managed by Bertrand and Théo, whose cuisine is truly exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed the daily special, a veal hanger steak, which was absolutely delicious! Everything is perfect: the parking, the setting, the comfortable dining rooms, the service, and the food itself. We will undoubtedly be back soon for another delicious meal... at a very reasonable price. Thank you.

Really great restaurant! The roast chicken and mashed potatoes were excellent, the pork tenderloin was pretty good too, fantastic food!

We had a reservation for 7:45 pm, but our order wasn't taken until 8:20 pm and we were finally served around 8:45 pm. We had ordered three medium-rare beef fillets and a steak tartare. The fillets arrived rare, so we sent them back to the kitchen. The chef then pointed out that, in his opinion, they were perfectly medium. After a second trip to the kitchen, they were served to us rare. We ate them anyway so as not to overindulge. The tartare, however, was unfortunately poorly cut. It's a shame, because some aspects were really positive: the decor was beautiful, the cocktails were excellent, and the servers were very friendly.

The food is truly excellent and the dishes are high quality. However, the wait time is far too long: we arrived at 7:15 pm and didn't leave until 10:30 pm. I also think that better staff briefings would be necessary to make their job easier and allow them to answer customer questions more readily. For example, we asked what the petit fours included in the gourmet coffee and whether the dessert contained raw eggs, without receiving a clear answer. It's a shame, because the quality of the food is undeniable. With smoother service and better communication within the team, the experience would be significantly improved.

We ate there two nights in a row during our stay at the hotel next door. The staff is really friendly and welcoming; I recommend making a reservation. The food is delicious; we had a wonderful meal. The grilled meats are cooked over a wood fire, and kudos to the chef—they're perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. We'll definitely be back (including staying at the hotel) on our next trip to the area.

Looking for a place to escape the heat for ourselves and our little dog, we discovered this charming spot. The lunch menus are very affordable (€17 or €20), and the food is excellent. The long-haired waitress even offered us a bowl of water for our dog, and the young man at the reception was incredibly kind. Thank you!

We got a table spontaneously at around 9.30 in the evening. The service was very good, a charming young man and 2 nice ladies took care of us. We were sitting on a terrace under a roof, good atmosphere, it smells good around the huge oven with wood, food was good, meat nicely cooked, huge coffee gourmand for dessert.

This was a wonderful experience! We stopped by the adjacent hotel (village motel) on a whim, as we didn't fancy the return journey from Spain to Belgium in one long trip. At the reception, we were asked if we wished to make a reservation at the adjacent restaurant. We had looked up beforehand that we would have to walk quite a distance along a not-so-pleasant road to eventually end up at station buffets if we wanted something to eat... The recommendation emphasized that we could eat pizza there... given that we didn't really feel like walking towards the center of Tournus (okay, not that far), we agreed and thought we would 'resign' ourselves to a pizza... Upon entering, it immediately became clear that there was more to be had here... The menu is very extensive and, as is often the case, you are better off (as an adult) going for a set menu. But you get quality on your plate regardless. The service was friendly and efficient (despite the fact that it was quite full and the temperature was not to be underestimated for the staff who are constantly on the move). I can recommend this restaurant to the casual passerby or people like us who don't fancy the return journey from Spain to the North (or vice versa, of course). So be sure to check out the accompanying hotel as well (with a swimming pool... not unimportant when traveling with children!). We drove past these station buffets the next day on our departure, and we couldn't shake the impression that we hadn't missed a thing and had made the right choice.

The grilled ham with the grilled vegetables was really delicious. I'll be back.
