Les Flots Beus sur Beaulieu-Sur-Dordogne

A pleasant place with quality service, fine and crafted cuisine as well as rooms that match the service. A place for epicureans!

We had dinner here. Very friendly service and the Indian assistant was also very friendly. The food was very good and well prepared. But the prices are a little too expensive.

Dynamic staff. Traditional and local cuisine of very good taste. Worth the detour!

Après avoir enfin trouvé une place à 300 mètres pour nous garer (Beaulieu est très visitée l’été) nous nous sommes attablés à la terrasse. Cadre, accueil et service agréables sans temps d’attente. Carte assez courte qui gagnerait, pour le touriste de passage, à être étoffée par plus de produits de la région (la rivière Dordogne offre quelques poissons savoureux). Le « Menu Saveurs » à 38 € fait preuve d’une recherche réussie dans son élaboration. Seule critique : le râble de lapin avait l’aspect et la consistance d’une viande bouillie… mais c’est affaire de goût personnel.

Un emplacement très agréable (terrasse avec vue sur la Dordogne) et un accueil professionnel et de bon conseil. En revanche, la quantité de produit (ris de veau) dans l’assiette est un peu faible (rapport prix/quantité) et l’accompagnement un peu trop acide. Les desserts sont corrects mais trop chers également.

Stay for 2 nights in this establishment as an evening stopover. Access is a little difficult, the streets are very narrow to get there, but the location on the banks of the Dordogne is very pleasant. The room I had was perfect, clean and very quiet, the only downside was the door creaking terribly. Finally, the catering offers excellent dishes, I really enjoyed it, what's more, the dishes are out of the ordinary and the products are of high quality. If I had to comment the soft-boiled egg was closer to the hard-boiled egg and the mango for dessert was not ripe enough. To summarize, unbeatable quality/price, best evening stopover I've had in the 10 years I've been on the road. THANKS

We were disappointed with our recent stay at Les Flots Bleus. While the room we stayed in (Adèle) was reasonably large and quiet, it was also spartan and uncomfortable. The lighting is harsh and glary, the walls are almost entirely bare, and the two twin-size beds that are pushed together to form a double bed are uncomfortable. There is an awkward series of steps (not depicted or described on the hotel's website) that leads from the bedroom area down to a small sitting area and the bathroom. The sitting area has a futon-like couch reminiscent of a college dorm room. Worst of all, the room had a peculiar musty odor. Hotel management could easily make a small investment to improve the aesthetics, comfort and cleanliness of the room. Another member of our group stayed in the Guirlotte room upstairs, which was somewhat better, as it had air conditioning and was not musty.

Very nice restaurant, the food and wine are delicious, the service is very friendly and accommodating. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED.
