The person on the phone was incredibly kind. We called late, around 8:26 PM, to order dinner that same evening, about 5-10 minutes after calling. The person on the phone greeted us with a smile and was very friendly. We had a wonderful meal for our first time dining at your restaurant. The waitress and waiter were also very kind. Since we no longer add salt to our food, we found the sauce a bit too salty, but it was still very tasty. I even mopped up my entire plate with bread! The Telhouët beer was also good. We will gladly return; it was a very pleasant discovery. Thank you so much to you and your team.

One of the best restaurants in Brocéliande—and I'm not making that up; it's been that way for over 100 years!
In fact, it ticks all the boxes:
- A magnificent setting by a pond, overlooking the Forges!
- Stone walls, beautiful white tablecloths, a heavy fireplace roasting game on a grill, a ceiling painted with lovely motifs, and wrought-iron chandeliers!
- Traditional regional cuisine featuring venison and a large terrine where you help yourself directly from the dish! The terrine is, of course, excellent (that's an understatement).
- Friendly service and a great atmosphere 👌
A must-try!

We'd heard about this restaurant near our home and we weren't disappointed at all. The service was very friendly. The staff were very welcoming. The setting is lovely.
There's only one set menu to choose from on Sundays, and it's more than enough. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The ingredients are fresh, the seasoning is perfect, and it's truly delicious. The value for money is excellent. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back during the week to try the wood-fired meats. 😋

Just a stone's throw from Paimpont, this former canteen of the old forges, on the lake's edge, has been passed down through generations. Focusing on traditional cuisine, one can notably enjoy a superb venison steak with Grand Veneur sauce. The welcome and service are pleasant. Everything is in place for a wonderful evening.

This is our second time dining at "Les Forges de Paimpont," and the pleasure is exactly the same: it's still just as good! From the moment you arrive, the menu is particularly enticing, and choosing is difficult as everything looks so tempting. On the plate, it's flawless: the dishes are delicious, and the cooking is simply perfect, meticulously following our requests. Add to that attentive, friendly, and professional service, and you have the recipe for a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back for a third time. You can go without hesitation!

Superb location overlooking the forges.
A very warm welcome in a superb establishment. Professional and friendly staff.
The food is excellent, and despite a demanding group (different requests), it was a wonderful discovery!
The place is very clean and well-maintained (that's my obsession :-) ).
