There were six of us, and we ordered the Grand Manaud truffade with its charcuterie and coq au vin. It's the first time I've rediscovered the flavors of yesteryear. The truffade was excellent, the charcuterie delicious, as was the coq au vin. Everything, from the potatoes and poultry to the charcuterie and wines, is local, and it shows in the taste. Congratulations to the chef; it was a delight. I recommend it 1000% if you want to awaken your taste buds. 🥰

If you want to climb the Puy de Dôme, I recommend starting at the Col de Ceyssat. On your way back, be sure to eat and drink here; the food is excellent and it's good value. The service is excellent, and they take the time to explain all the local cheeses. Thank you very much.
