Delicious dishes suited to the exertion (uphill, downhill). We were able to sit on the terrace without a reservation. Allergies were taken into account. Young, friendly staff.

Always delicious and very pleasant service!

We had a very pleasant dinner twice at this inn, a place frequented by locals, hikers, and tourists. The welcome was warm, simple, and genuine, with a very friendly smile. Several separate rooms allow people to gather in groups. The round table in front of the fireplace, where we dined, was very pleasant. The aperitifs were well served, and the Auvergne menu offered a delicious coq au vin with potatoes and green beans, or a very good trout in wine sauce with vegetables and rice if you wanted a change from the truffade, which many diners chose and ate with gusto. The desserts were also homemade, and the selection was varied: we tasted a very good blueberry tart with crème anglaise, a very good nectarine and hazelnut tart with crème anglaise, and very good profiteroles. The tarte tatin, which we didn't try, was a victim of its own success. Other desserts were also available. The service was friendly and attentive. We will gladly return. These two delicious evenings were very enjoyable. Thank you.

A charming inn in a beautiful setting. We received a warm and professional welcome. The food was excellent, both in terms of quality and quantity. Reservations are recommended as it's very popular. We highly recommend discovering this inn and would gladly return if the opportunity arises.

The truffade was very good and plentiful, and the charcuterie was also good. The team of young people was quite friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Next time we're in the area, we'll definitely stop by.

Good restaurant at the Col de Ceyssat. The Auvergne menu is very good and very affordable. One small drawback: the blueberry tart is delicious on its own and doesn't need the custard sauce. We'll be back! 😎

A warm welcome and generous meals – an inn just the way we like it, with a great atmosphere and setting at the foot of the volcano. A must-visit if you're in the area!
