After eating at this inn several times, we returned on April 20th and I can confirm: the food is excellent (the cook is fantastic), everything is delicious, from the appetizer to the dessert. The welcome is very warm; you'll be greeted by the very friendly owner, and the service is impeccable. If you happen to come on a Sunday, you'll be served by the waitress Elisa – yes, angels do exist! (She's exceptionally kind and very professional) and even makes you forget the bad weather. 😉 The prices are reasonable. You can enjoy coq au vin and one of the best truffade in the region. For an appetizer, try the Yssoirien brick pastry with raw cow's milk cheese and pink garlic from Billom. For dessert, there's a mouth-watering tarte tatin, chocolate profiteroles, or blueberry tart – everything you need for a wonderful time. After a full stomach, you can digest and take a stroll around the Puy de Dôme, the starting point for climbing to the summit, which is right next to the restaurant. One of our favorite spots in the Puy-de-Dôme region

There were six of us, and we ordered the Grand Manaud truffade with its charcuterie and coq au vin. It's the first time I've rediscovered the flavors of yesteryear. The truffade was excellent, the charcuterie delicious, as was the coq au vin. Everything, from the potatoes and poultry to the charcuterie and wines, is local, and it shows in the taste. Congratulations to the chef; it was a delight. I recommend it 1000% if you want to awaken your taste buds. 🥰
