Very pleasant place and excellent service! We made a mistake with our order, but there was no fuss; the dish was immediately changed! The meat was very good! Great experience, I highly recommend it.

⭐ An excellent restaurant in Houlgate! Restaurant des Halles offers exactly what you're looking for after a morning at the beach: professionalism, speed, and truly high-quality food. Arriving at the end of service (around 1:30 pm) and drawn in by the numerous Michelin stars from the Routard and Petit Futé guides displayed at the entrance, I was immediately greeted by a smiling, pleasant, and very professional team, who even seated me on the terrace at my request to enjoy the beautiful weather. The €25 set menu (main course + dessert) is generous, flavorful, prepared with fresh ingredients, and excellent value for money. The service is impeccable and very quick, without ever feeling rushed. The €12 children's menu is just as good: homemade fish and chips, butcher-style minced steak… truly appealing options designed to please children without resorting to mass-produced, basic fare. A very good experience, simple, efficient, warm — to be repeated without hesitation.

A wonderful time spent with the family. The main course and dessert were both excellent and high quality! I would have liked a slightly larger portion of the linguine, but it was still very good.

What a delightful surprise this restaurant was! We stumbled upon it by chance and were pleasantly surprised. We tried the tapas and they were delicious (gravlax, hummus, shrimp, fried cheese, etc.). The service was excellent, even though we arrived during peak hours without a reservation. Kudos to the whole team! We truly enjoyed this little escape from the everyday at your establishment. We will gladly return on our next trip to Normandy.

A wonderful discovery! Elaborate dishes, friendly staff, and a welcoming, clean place. The 24-hour-cooked pork loin with Camembert sauce and the candied apple, salted caramel, and biscuit dessert are delicious. The price is in line with the product. Highly recommended.

We arrived without a reservation, and the owner immediately seated us. The food was very good. There was a small problem, and the manager took care of it right away. I'm really satisfied; as soon as I'm in the area, it will be my favorite place.

A very warm welcome. Generous portions prepared with fresh, local ingredients. A wide selection of dishes, all equally delicious. You can eat on the terrace or inside. The interior is pleasant and very clean. The service was quick, professional, and efficient! I highly recommend it.

Excellent restaurant. The salmon burger was delicious, the salmon was cooked perfectly and there was no greasy sauce dripping down the sides! Thank you for the service as well.
