Les Halles des Lices sur Vannes

Beautiful location, lots of vendors outside, plenty of fresh produce, and nice places to eat – highly recommended. Of course, there are a lot of tourists, but it's definitely worth seeing.

I came on a Saturday morning to buy pig's trotters, a real treat!

An unusual place...with a wine cellar filled with light... The cellar...

Perfect for soaking up the Breton atmosphere. You order your meal and can eat it there. There are always very friendly Bretons to chat with. A must-do if you're in Vannes.

An essential stop for Saturday morning shopping. Few shops are open on Mondays. Be careful.

Great place fully enjoyed our stay

Visiting Halles des Lices in Vannes was an absolute highlight of my trip! This vibrant market hall is packed with an incredible variety of fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced produce, exquisite meats, and the freshest seafood you can find in the region. The atmosphere is lively, welcoming, and full of authentic local charm, making it a wonderful spot to explore local culinary traditions. Every vendor we interacted with was friendly and proud of their high-quality goods. I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone looking for a genuine taste of the local culture!

Really top stuff. The best of everything. You can eat there too

The market halls are very well stocked; you can buy food at the stalls and have lunch... tables are available. There are free toilets.

It's not very big, but it has what you need. As a visitor on vacation, I would have liked to see more truly local products. There is a small area for small producers, though. A bit too small for my liking. It's easy to move around, and there wasn't much of a queue in June. There isn't really a place to have lunch there with the family after buying things, unless I missed it when I was there.
