I came to this establishment several times a very long time ago, in my youth—what a pleasure! Having lost touch with my friends from back then, I wanted to relive those moments. Thank goodness the interior hasn't changed. The food a little. As for the service... I loved my crepe lollipop. However, the conflicts between the waiters were pointless. So, overall, my opinion is mixed.

Long wait for the food, a coffee at €3.50, and above all the feeling of having been ripped off on the "slate" menu advertised at €16.90 which ultimately turned out to be a normal menu at €26.90 following incorrect answers from the waiter...the food is good nevertheless we will not return for all these reasons.

The food was excellent. A minor drawback was the limited vegetarian options, unfortunately only appetizers. However, the leeks with soft-boiled eggs were delicious. The desserts were equally excellent. I did notice a strange smell when I arrived at the restaurant, though, like urine... It was rather disconcerting, perhaps it was a toilet smell... Anyway, it detracted a bit from the charm of the place. But otherwise, it was very good!

Nice place on Place du Vieux Marché... the upstairs dining room was packed on New Year's Day... very close quarters with the neighboring tables... good oysters, but the sirloin steak was a bit sinewy, what a shame! A waiter kept mixing up the tables throughout the entire service... maybe a temporary worker who didn't know the table numbers... no big deal for me, but my neighbors were disappointed 😞 (Their daughter got her burger after her parents had finished their meals!)

28/12/2025: Excellent brasserie! Lunch for four as a family. Aperitif with a spritz, a glass of white wine, and two sodas. Two set menus (starter, main course, dessert), with a poached egg with Camembert as a starter. For the main course, chicken casserole with Maroilles cheese and homemade fries, and tarte tatin for dessert. For the children, a burger and a flank steak with homemade fries. All the dishes were delicious. Sanitation is well-maintained, and the food is both tasty and plentiful for a very reasonable price (€99.70). All this with a magnificent view of the Rouen courthouse (absolutely beautiful). Friendly and efficient service. Well done and thank you!
20/12/2025: What a view from the room overlooking the Palais de Justice! Absolutely stunning. Plus, it's right in the heart of historic Rouen, just steps from the Gros Horloge and the shopping streets. A huge thank you to the porter who carried my suitcase up to the second floor, as there's no elevator.

24/11/2025: Nice place, the interior decoration could use a bright refresh, the food is top-notch, very good and varied, however it's very cold in the restaurant, which is a problem when you have to eat with your coat on.
