Super little discovery on our way down from Montmartre. Visited on a Sunday evening in November. Friendly and accommodating staff, simple and lovely French food. I recommend the steak frites & tarte tatin.

A nice local restaurant/cafe, not far from the metro (Antwerp) and the Montmatre district. We stopped here after coming down from the Montmatre coast, to get our fill. The value for money was good and the dishes tasty.

I went for coffee with friends. The waitress was not very pleasant but not unpleasant either. The small downside is the boss who drinks his glass of red at 9 a.m. in front of all the customers. I don't know but personally if I were in a restaurant/brewery I wouldn't drink alcohol in front of customers.

Very good restaurant. Hearty dishes. I had a gourmet salad, very good and fresh. Delicious chocolate mousse. Friendly welcome. Professional staff. Clean restaurant.

02/09/2024: I give the atmosphere a three because it is not very present. And I don't find it normal to be distributed whether it's on site or taken away before other customers. My tray was waiting. A lady was also waiting for her tray, just before me. My sandwich (a Big Mac) was so cold that I asked for it to be reheated, to which I was told: “We make sandwiches on a line. » For the price I pay from the Best Of menu or maxi a sandwich must be at the right temperature. It's not normal to eat in the cold.

06/09/2024: Location and service is great, but food is tasteless
02/09/2024: I visited Café Benjamin in the evening on Saturday 31 in August. I wasn't having a great time because some "family issues" were getting in the way. But, this one server I never got his name but (he was a tall slim built black guy) besides showing quality and amazing customer service, he showed personality to me. By, expressing kindness and overall sweetness. He knew I wasn't okay and tried to calm my dad ranting at me for something minor for me. Afterwards he gave me a note explaining things will be okay, and how my dad was just trying his best. If I could ever get this man's name, it would help but my name is Rian. And. J'adore votre style de service.
