⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I'm not particularly fond of this type of food, so I didn't necessarily expect to be so pleasantly surprised. But when something is good, you have to say so. The restaurant might not look like much at first glance, but behind it all, there's a chef who is truly passionate about his craft. And it shows in what he offers. The quality of the ingredients used far exceeded my expectations. Even when ordering takeout, you can tell there's a real commitment to quality in the preparation and a desire to offer something of exceptional quality. I really wasn't expecting such a pleasant surprise, especially for this type of cuisine, which I don't usually seek out. It just goes to show, sometimes you have to step outside your comfort zone. A wonderful discovery in L'Île-d'Olonne. When something is good, you have to say so. And this definitely deserves to be said.

Staying at Camping l'Île aux Oiseaux, I highly recommend Les Paludiers for a great meal. They offer truly homemade food with fresh ingredients, generous portions, and reasonable prices. Burgers, hot sandwiches, pizzas, homemade fries, and more... The owners are fantastic—down-to-earth, friendly, and welcoming.

Grabbed some food locally. Waiting time around 8 PM was a good 1.5 hours for 5 pizzas. After consulting with a lovely lady, we got 5 burgers which were ready within 20 minutes. So if you know what you want, order by phone in advance and pick up like the locals do. Very sweet service. If the weather is nice, you can enjoy your order outside on the mini terrace.
