Refined dishes throughout the years that build customer loyalty. I highly recommend them.

The seafood salad is simple but very good. I especially loved the local lemonade. Lovely view of the old port.

For me, it's simply the best fish restaurant in the port of La Rochelle. I've been going back every year with family or friends for about 20 years. We love eating their seafood platters or elaborate fish dishes. Every year, the service is impeccable, and it's also very conveniently located next to the Batobus, which makes parking easy.

To satisfy some friends who wanted seafood, we came one evening. Always a bit hesitant about seafood, I preferred to know it would be well-cooked, hence my choice of crispy, parsley-crusted whelks and mussels marinière. The famous whelks are, I think, one of the starters that allows the restaurant to make a good profit (see photo), and are rather bland for those who like them with mayonnaise. The mussels were good, and the fries were cooked perfectly. Since good food is the expected outcome in any restaurant, I find the price/quality ratio to be in line with the location: a touristy brasserie. It wasn't where my taste buds were pleasantly surprised, but it was simply good and reasonably priced. The staff consists of many smiling and dedicated young people. In short, it's a kind of factory doing its job: churning out standardized dishes on an assembly line. My friends who came to enjoy seafood, however, became ill.

The service was slow; we were served by four different waiters. It's understandable, as they were extremely busy.

We struggled to find a table, but it was totally worth it! There was a bit of a wait despite our lateness and reservation, but once we were seated, everything went very smoothly. The children were served first while we enjoyed our aperitifs. The girls devoured their mussels and fish dishes: there wasn't a single bite left on their plates! 🥰 We ordered three set menus with a starter, main course, and dessert, and all four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The food was refined, indulgent, and bursting with flavor. The dishes were truly excellent. Special mention goes to the waiter, who was smiling, funny, and very friendly, and who made the experience even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this place, whether you're with family, friends, or your significant other. A wonderful discovery! ❤️

The product was a good quantity and very fresh, I was just disappointed by the dessert on the fisherman's menu (French toast), which didn't live up to the rest of the menu and was uninteresting. It's a shame because the rest of the food was well-prepared and tasty, with quick and efficient service.
