Les petites bouchées sur Paris

We frequent this restaurant every time we return to Paris, for the menu, the quality of the food, and the atmosphere. Thank you to Marie for her warm welcome, kindness, and service.

The magic just wasn't there. On the plus side, the food is undeniably good, fresh, and flavorful. However, I found the portions tiny, even for tapas. There were literally four gnocchi (as an extra) in my ramekin (they were delicious, though)... Each plate costs €6, and frankly, it's not worth it, in my opinion. We had to order three set menus (nine tapas total) to barely feel full for two people, even though the menu suggests three would be enough, since it's "3 - €18". I've been to similar "French-style tapas" restaurants, like "Sourire", and the portions are much better managed. Furthermore, the manager (I assume?) is quite unpleasant. She ignored me while I waited to pay, chatting with another customer about the weather, then went outside without so much as a glance or asking why she wasn't ringing me up. I also thought I was bothering her by asking for bread (I needed something to eat, given the meager portion, and besides, isn't bread a given in France?). The service wasn't particularly pleasant or welcoming, which, combined with the extremely cramped space, didn't exactly help in creating a comfortable atmosphere. Really, a bad experience, though not a complete disaster, but nothing that would make me want to go back. That said, if you have a small appetite, the food is very good; kudos to the chef.

Great restaurant with delicious little bites. The concept is really nice and lets you sample several small dishes. The quality is excellent and the service is very friendly. A great place to eat in Paris.

We had the most wonderful experience at this restaurant. The waiter was patient and kind, the lighting, decor and ambiance perfect, a great menu which satisfied even the fussiest of eaters in our family and the food was divine.
