What a wonderful discovery this tea room is! The place is very welcoming and has a lovely terrace; the coffee is good, as are the homemade treats (ah, that apple tart!!). The welcome and service were very friendly. Well done and thank you!

A charming little tea room in the heart of Caen. The owners are lovely and everything is delicious. However, it must be said that the prices are high. Nevertheless, I encourage you to come and discover this relaxing little haven, with its vintage decor reminiscent of our beloved grandmothers' tea rooms!

A fantastic little tea room! A calm and peaceful place, a little removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. The drinks and desserts are delicious. We'll definitely be back!

I had some very good coffees there with my family, and also a caramel apple crumble which was absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly too ☺️ I highly recommend it!!!

A relaxing break at Les Petites Douceurs in a warm and inviting atmosphere, with a welcoming smile and a lovely terrace. As we were leaving, we chatted with the owner, a friendly and warm moment, marked by simplicity and kindness. For the tasting, we discovered matcha tea, served in a large bowl. A surprising experience, both visually and in terms of taste, for which we weren't prepared. A brief explanation beforehand would undoubtedly have allowed us to appreciate it more, even though we readily admit our lack of knowledge about this type of tea. The pear and chocolate tart, offered in a generous slice to share, was decent: my partner enjoyed it, while I found it rather simple, although in a different setting I probably would have savored it more. Overall, a pleasant experience, with a genuine welcome and an interesting one, despite a slight reservation about the guidance provided during the introduction to the products.

Despite the slightly high prices, the setting, the quality, and the very pleasant welcome are all there. A calm and peaceful atmosphere, just the way we like it.

I had fond memories of the place, and I recently went back for afternoon tea with my partner... We were quite disappointed. The place is still truly charming and beautifully decorated. But the initial welcome was off-putting: no greeting, a slightly awkward silence where the manager waited for us to speak, and a rather cold discussion as she explained how to take our order. Also, be aware that you must go downstairs with your table name; a young woman in front of me had to go back up to get it after being refused service. Considering the prices, we opted for a drink each and a pastry to share. The bill came to €4.50 for a homemade lemonade in a thin glass, €2.30 for a tiny hazelnut coffee, and €6.60 for a slice of chocolate tart, surprisingly thin and small for that price. Almost 13 euros, when we didn't even order a pastry per person, and the portions were clearly small, is too much. The setting can't justify everything. We can only acknowledge the delicious taste of the tart and the charm of the place, but unfortunately, we won't be returning if the prices (and the service) remain the same.

I love this place, and so does my husband! It's cozy, simple, and a nice change from the usual spots. Last time, I had a hot drink with a delicious cake! But the homemade hot chocolate with caramel syrup, whipped cream, and cookies is to die for! Keep up the great work!
