A few tapas for lunch for two this Sunday afternoon... a good idea with the pintxos (very good with guacamole and anchovies, for example)... but what a shame the bread was such poor quality... it ruined everything... we could have almost imagined ourselves in San Sebastian, but no! ... Invest in good bread, and you'll improve your quality... a waitress who wasn't very fun or energetic... admittedly, there weren't many customers at that time... but it was a far cry from the Spanish atmosphere of pintxo bars!

A wonderful evening at Les Piétons restaurant with the talented artist Lara Evaristo, whom I've seen several times for their Flamenco Thursdays—I never tire of them! She also presents a "Cabaret" evening, which I discovered this past Friday at Les Piétons as well. These shows, rich in songs, choreography, and interaction with the audience, promise a fantastic evening! Come and experience it!
The tapas are always excellent, and the welcome and service are very warm!

We hadn't been back for a long time, and unfortunately, it's not the same as before (apparently, there's been a change of ownership): the paella isn't really paella anymore, and certainly not the one pictured; it's just risotto rice decorated to look like paella. The sangria is watered down (€30 a liter) and doesn't taste like sangria at all. It's better to stick to the tapas, which are still good. A shame.

We had a great time at Chez les Pedestrians. Dylan, Seb, the waitresses, and the bartender were very efficient and lovely. The prices are very reasonable for the area. Comfortable, not cramped, with a pleasant Spanish atmosphere.

A real gem! I'm not usually a fan of the Châtelet area, but it's become my favorite place to meet up with friends.
The Spanish tapas are truly excellent and authentic, the music creates an amazing atmosphere, and the people there are incredibly friendly. It's a great place to be; it's the perfect spot in the area!
