As usual, I had a wonderful evening at La Petite Folie. It's a restaurant I adore, my favorite in Orléans and beyond. The food is divine, and the service is both warm and professional. The restaurant's location is beautiful, on a lovely square. I come to La Petite Folie whenever I'm in Orléans, and it's always a great pleasure.

We ate here twice. The food was delicious: months ago, the lamb shank was exceptional, and recently, the duck breast was excellent. For dessert, the brioche French toast was equally delicious, although the price was high for this type of dessert. A great find. The only downside is the proximity of the restrooms for the tables at the back. When you're eating there, you can see the frequent comings and goings of other customers and the inside of the restrooms...tables near the entrance and outside are better for enjoying the dishes at this small restaurant.

The terrace was pleasant, but the salad we ordered consisted mainly of lettuce, five tiny slices of chicken, two slices of smoked bacon, a sprinkle of parmesan, and lots of croutons. My glass of wine was far from the required 120ml. For €29, there are better options in Orléans.
